Pray without Ceasing
The apostle Paul commands us to pray without ceasing (1 Thess 5:17), pray at all times (Eph. 6:18), continue steadfastly in prayer (Col. 4:2), and be constant in prayer (Rom. 12:12). When the church faced uncertainty and opposition they prayed together (Acts 1:14; 2:42; 4:23-24). If anyone is suffering or sick James said to pray and call on the elders to join that prayer (James 5:13-14). Anything that causes anxiety we should take to the Lord in prayer (Phil. 4:6). We want to be a people expressing our utter dependence upon God together in everything we do.
