"Older women likewise are to be reverent in behavior, not slanderers or slaves to much wine. They are to teach what is good, and so train the young women to love their husbands and children, to be self-controlled, pure, working at home, kind, and submissive to their own husbands, that the word of God may not be reviled." (Titus 2:3-5, ESV)

Women's Ministry

In the beginning God made people in his image, male and female he created them to display his glory to the world (Gen. 1:27). God is not represented in this world through his people without women partaking in that work. Women have a unique perspective on the world. They engage the world differently than men. They have gifts that men don't. If we want to be faithful to the mandates, commands, and commissions of God in Christ we need to equip and empower women to work as partners.

It is our aim to build up a women's ministry that connects women to train and mentor one another for gospel ministry. Early in the life of a church we are still discerning who we are and what our needs and abilities are. Currently we are unfolding multiple bible study opportunities for women to grow in their knowledge of the word and their ability to teach other women. From this we hope to build a team of women who are on mission together to expound on the unsearchable riches of Christ together and make his glory known in our city.

"We all know its important to study God’s Word. But sometimes it’s hard to know where to start. What’s more , a lack of time, emotionally driven approaches, and past frustrations can erode our resolve to keep growing in our knowledge of Scripture. How can we, as Christian women, keep our focus and sustain our passion when reading the Bible?

Offering a clear and concise plan to help women go deeper in their study of Scripture, this book will equip you to engage God’s Word in a way that trains your mind and transforms your heart.”

We will enjoy fellowship, food, and learning how to study God’s word this fall. And after the holidays we will dig into one of Jen Wilkin’s bible studies.
