This endeavor is not about affirming the pastors in their ministry but exalting Christ through all the gifts of the people. We want Christ to be the focus through a diversity of leadership and we want this to continue long after we are gone. So we deliberately engage future potential leaders in one-on-one discipleship as well as dedicated theological and practical training through our School of Theology in order to raise up leaders to join us, replace us, and be sent out from us.

Internships

Interns train under the elders in the work of ministry — study, service, and supervised practice, including preaching sermons.

Pastoral residencies

Our pastoral residency prepares men for pastoral office through hands-on pastoral training in the congregation. Brian Kettering currently serves as our pastoral resident.

Teach Sunday School

Sunday School teachers are raised up from within the congregation and trained to handle the Word faithfully — adults are currently studying First Timothy, and the children's classes are working through a survey of the whole Bible.

Lead a Community Group

Community Groups are the primary emphasis of our ministry outside of Sunday worship — members sharing meals, praying, and digging into God's Word together. Group leaders are identified and equipped by the elders.
