Redemption on Mission

"And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'”

Matthew 28:18-20

"How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him who brings good news, who publishes peace, who brings good news of happiness, who publishes salvation, who says to Zion, 'Your God reigns.'"  Isaiah 62:7

International Missions

While the church in America sends more missionaries than any other country, we rank 10th in missionaries sent per million church members. The top 5 are Palestine, Ireland, Malta, Samoa, and South Korea. Almost 300 years ago the Moravian church became known for their missionary zeal sending nearly 1 out of 4 members as missionaries to other nations.

Desiring not to simply be consumers of truth but also proclaimers, we strive to always be training, sending, and supporting missionaries who are taking the gospel to the ends of the earth.

Currently we are praying for the following missionaries connected with Redemption City Church:

  • R and C - East Africa
  • Aaron and Meg - Uganda, Africa
  • Daniel and Jessica - Brazil
  • Joe - Middle East

Missions Associations

God has given us relationships with people in the following organizations to help us fulfill this mission-sending vision.

Church Planting

Redemption City Church isn't just a church plant, but a church planting church. Many say that they want to plant churches, but if a church isn't working on it from day one it won't likely happen. Our heart for missions spreads from the ends of the earth to every part of our region. We will partner with churches to plant more churches. We are not about growing our own tribe, but equipping and sending new leaders to proclaim God's glory in Christ all around us.

Currently we are praying and seeking direction from the Lord concerning a new church plant in Owatonna, MN. Within 5 years we also hope to be planting another church in Rochester, MN.

Church Planting Partnerships

These churches and planting networks have been vital in pursuing a vision for church planting.
