The Call

God made men to be confident leaders who provide for and protect. The Men’s Summit is the yearly gathering of the men of Redemption City Church for that calling.

Through robust fraternity, sound biblical instruction, and mutual edification, men are emboldened in valor and godly character as sons, husbands, and fathers, standing faithfully contra mundum, against the world.

Our standard is Jesus Christ our Lord. Following him means unwavering obedience, steadfast faith, and an undaunted, singular mission focus. The summit calls men to hold the line and then to advance: to pursue the prize, to face the foe, to command the chaos, and to finish the fight.

It is a call to be stable, immovable, and dignified, to clear a path for our churches and families, and to give extra attention to one another’s hearts, calling each other to bold faith.

What Takes Place Each Year

  • Biblical lectures and teaching on manhood, family, church, and the civil arena

  • Prayer, worship, and conversation about applying truth in everyday life

  • Shared meals and time together in robust fraternity

  • Fireside conversation and mutual encouragement

  • Outdoor activities and skill-sharing

  • Time for men to know one another, to be known, and to be called to bold faith

  • Encouragement to invite sons into the life of the church and its yearly gatherings
