Jesus is coming back soon.

Jesus is coming back soon.

Even so, come quickly Lord Jesus!

Thank you for your interest in how we proclaim the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ.

Proclamation is the Christ exalting preaching from the holy Scriptures. This is the pinnacle of the service around which everything else revolves. The preaching of the Word is preeminent in the worship service because God has revealed himself to us in the Bible (Lev. 11:44), we delight in the Word of God (Ps. 119), and it is through the preaching and hearing of the gospel that men and women are saved (Acts 2:37; Eph. 1:13).

At Redemption City Church,  our practice is expository preaching through whole books of the Bible. Expository preaching illuminates the main point of a passage, neither detracting from nor adding to the author’s intent, and shows how it is applicable to the Christian life. Systematically going through whole books of the Bible allows our church to be instructed in all aspects of Scripture so we may be equipped for every good work (2 Tim. 3:16).
