Missions and the Local Church (School of Theology)

Course Description

The purpose of this course is to discover how the mission of God impacts the activities of the local church. This will be explored through readings and discussions in four specific areas: biblical basis of missions, history of missions, culture and missions, and the practice of missions. Students will be given opportunity to present and lead discussions in each of these areas throughout the course. By completing this course the student will be more equipped to appreciate and participate in God’s mission to the nations, both in Rochester and throughout the world.
