Equipping Personally

love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength and with all your mind. Luke 10:27

We strive to equip one another to live faithfully for Christ, with faithful gathering for worship, a culture of discipleship, community groups, hospitality, one-on-one discipleship, training in biblical studies through Bethlehem College and Seminary - Rochester and Redemption School of Theology, and leadership development from within the church.

Engaging Locally

And the second is like it: love your neighbor as yourself. Matthew 22:39

We work to engage whole-heartedly in our local communities, through faithful worship that overflows into our local contexts, for the glory of our God. We do this through involvement and planning of local festivals and events, support of local ministries, engagement and prayer for other local churches, local church planting in and around Rochester, and faithful work unto the Lord in our various vocations to influence culture through God-honoring dominion.

Sending Globally

And Jesus came and said to them, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations…” Matthew 28:18–19

As a church, we are actively engaged in God’s global mission for his glory and fame to spread to every people on earth. We believe that all God’s people should be involved in global missions – whether sending or going. We support many missionaries, with an emphasis on unreached people groups, and regularly host our partnered missionaries when they return to the country. We’re also actively involved in training and sending pastors and missionaries from our congregation.
